Congratulations to Dr. Saun-Joo Yoon on Her Florida Cancer Innovation Fund Award
The CaRE² Health Center is proud to congratulate Saun-Joo Yoon, PhD, RN, on receiving $1,631,912 from the Florida Cancer Innovation Fund to support her innovative research project, Mobile Health Exercise Intervention for Fatigue Reduction Tailored to Cancer Survivors (MOTIVE).
Cancer-related fatigue is one of the most common and persistent challenges faced by cancer survivors and can significantly affect daily activities, well-being, and quality of life. Dr. Yoon’s MOTIVE project aims to address this challenge through a personalized, mobile health approach that incorporates exercise interventions tailored to the needs of cancer survivors.
By leveraging mobile health technology, this research has the potential to make supportive care more accessible and help survivors manage fatigue in ways that can be integrated into their everyday lives. The project represents an important step toward developing innovative strategies that support cancer survivors beyond treatment and promote improved quality of life.
As a member of the CaRE² Health Center, Dr. Yoon continues to contribute to our center’s commitment to advancing cancer research and developing innovative approaches that can positively impact patients and communities.
Congratulations, Dr. Yoon, on this outstanding achievement and well-deserved recognition! We look forward to seeing the impact of the MOTIVE project on cancer survivorship and supportive care.
